How can I download SAWBO's animations?
You can download SAWBO animations by visiting SAWBO's Video Library. Simply find the animation you want to download, then click on its picture. You will then arrive at the animation's page. Here you can select the translation you want from the languages available. When you have selected the translation you want, the page will reload, and you can now view or download the animation. Find the download links located near the bottom left of the page and click on the icon of the file you would like to download.
You can also view our website tutorial to learn how to download an animation.
Can anyone download SAWBO's animations?
Yes! Anyone can download SAWBO's animations for any educational purposes. You can reproduce them and distribute them to as many people as you would like (as long as you do not alter the animation in any way). The animations can be used in educational programs, classrooms, community centers, hospital waiting rooms, and any other educational venue. If you are a TV station or you create materials for TV and you wish to use SAWBO animations for the creation of education programming, please e-mail SAWBO at contact@sawbo-animations.org. We are happy to provide a letter stating you can use these animations in your programming.
When downloading an animation, what format should I choose?
For almost every animation in our library, SAWBO offers four main formats described below:
MP4 - This high quality format is best for computers. It can work on MACs or PCs. This format is great for a few people to watch on a computer screen, or for projecting onto larger viewing screens. This format can also work on most Android devices, but it is a larger file, so we do not recommend this if you want multiple animations on your device.
MOV - This is our highest quality format. We recommend this format if you are planning on broadcasting our animations on TV. If you are a television station and would like to broadcast our animations, please email us at contact@sawbo-animations.org.
3GP - This is a compressed format that is best for smartphones. This format can be shared from device to device over Bluetooth, email, and messaging apps. This format works best on Android devices. It typically does not work with iPhones, iPads, or iPods. For any Apple devices, we recommend you download the animation to your computer, then sync the file with your iTunes library. This should allow you to transfer the file onto your Apple device.
3GP Lite - This is a further compressed format that is best for cell phones. This format can easily be shared from device to device over Bluetooth, email, and messaging apps.
How do I download an animation onto my phone?
If you have an Android smartphone, download either a 3GP file or a 3GP Lite file from our Video Library. Either of these files should play on your Android device. Visit SAWBO's Video Library on your phone. Find the animation you want to download, then click on its picture. You will then arrive at the animation's page. Here you can select the translation you want from the languages available. When you have selected the translation you want, the page will reload, and you can now view or download the animation. Find the download links located near the bottom left of the page and click on the icon of the file you would like to download (either 3GP or 3GP Lite).
If you have an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod), we recommend you download the animation to your computer, then sync the file with your iTunes library. This should allow you to transfer the file onto your Apple device. If you try to download directly from our Video Library onto your Apple device, it may not work.
