Deployment of the Hip Dysplasia Animation in Ethiopia

In the New Year of 2017, SAWBO completed and released a pair of animations on Hip Dysplasia and Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH). These animations were developed in collaboration with Dr. Rick Gardner and Neal Sternecky. The CURE hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has already begun the process of integrating these animations into their training programs. In mid-March of 2017 Rick Gardner's team hosted a training session for 28 midwife trainers in Addis Ababa. Rick's team is currently working with other Ethiopian partner groups for them to use this content in their educational programs as well.
