SAWBO, which has been housed at Michigan State University (MSU) for the last five years, is co-led by Julia Bello-Bravo and Barry Pittendrigh, who both recently accepted positions on the Purdue University campus in the College of Agriculture. Bello-Bravo will join the Department of Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication as a faculty member this fall, and Pittendrigh has been named Purdue's Osmun Endowed Chair in Urban Entomology in the Department of Entomology.
